The new quad-core Tegra 3 ice cream sandwich tablet from Lenovo is the most awaited product. It holds the unbelievable five core chip. This is the first ever tablet and phone that can run Kal-El. After its launch, there would be a churn out of the models just like the case of Tegra 2.
Lenovo is assumed to be the first entrant with such a model. This device is a slim looking ten point one inch tablet. It is wrapped in brushed black anodized aluminum. Such a look makes this IdeaPad appear like a bit colorful like the Asus Transformer Prime. There is only meager information about the details of Lenovo currently.
It is supposed to be a pack of DDR3 memory of 2GB along with its 1.6GHz Tegra 3 chip. It is a USB port of full size. The mandatory front and cameras of rear facing are involved with the resolutions. There is also a biometric scanner strike dab wherein your right index finger would likely move on the back. Just like the Lenovo IdeaPad A1, this new tablet does not include an HDMI port.
On the basis of the tablet size in terms of the elements like the USB port, the Tegra 3 of Lenovo is quite smaller. It is smaller in comparison with the earlier Android tablets from Lenovo. This product is regarded as the first ever running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich of the company. It is also considered to get launched before the ending of the current calendar year.
Such a launching date means that the Asus Transformer Prime is not the primary ICS slate that would move to sale shops. Instead of launching with Honeycomb and pushing an OTA update for ICS after the software is ready. The Asus Company chooses to control off and sale with the updates pre-installed in the device.
This can provide Lenovo with a wonderful opportunity to move ahead in the competing race and be the first. This is assumed to be the case if suddenly a new device pops out with another advanced tablet. In just the recent times, Lenovo has introduced the IdeaPad K1 tablet and the IdeaPad A1 tablet in the current year in October.
Besides this, Lenovo had started working over the IdeaPad K1 successor model already. However, there is no confirmation about its detail to understand it. The benchmark of AnTuTu which is a tool for benchmarking for Android devices is recently listed with the K2 tablets.
This is ranked third in the entire list. The K2 tablet has scored more than ten thousand and is claiming to be on the third position. This is below the ASUS Transformer Prime TF201 units.
The new quad-core Tegra 3 ice cream sandwich tablet from Lenovo is aimed to get released in until December this year. This is an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet that can move the benchmark scores to a greater higher level.
